Today I'm thankful for teachers who still put stickers on the papers of high school seniors. It makes Baby Girl really happy. And that makes me really, really happy.
When my aunt, an elementary school teacher, retired, she gave me tons of stickers. I put them on the papers of students who received an "A" on their assignments. When I ran out of stickers, I quit putting them on papers, and all the students wanted to know why they didn't get stickers anymore. I learned my lesson! I started buying stickers and put them on papers until the day I quit teaching.

ReplyDeleteKelly, isn't it amazing how a little sticker can make such a difference? But it does.
