Monkey Brains
credit: Mr. Webber
Do you get these where you live? Everyone around here calls them monkey brains, but they're actually the fruit of the osage orange tree, sometimes called hedge apples. Apparently squirrels love them. Don't look so appetizing to me!
Finally! A picture that will help me stay on my diet (instead of falling off the wagon again). Thanks, Heather!
ReplyDeleteLOLOL, Linda. I posted it just for you. :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like some kind of alien planet or spaceship or something, eh? They're supposed to keep spiders away. I ought to get a couple for my office. I hate sitting here and then, EEEEKKKK!! A spider will drop down right on my keyboard. (Mr. L. Says he loses a year of his life every time that happens. I sure hope not. I need him to do 90% of the cooking around here.)
ReplyDeleteThey're kind of freaky! I wouldn't look at it and say, Hmm, I wonder how that tastes!
ReplyDeleteMr. W is hardly ever around when spiders drop in. He needs to work on that. :)
I've never seen those before, but eewww and gross.
ReplyDeleteWe get those a lot where I live. We have a ton of trees. When I was little, I thought they were pretty cool, weird yes, I know.
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Heather! Happy Friday!
