*Am wondering what I ever did to the printer to make it treat me this way. It's printing funky colors and taking forever. All my hair might grow back before the twenty pages I need to print actually come out of the machine.
*It hit 67* here yesterday. Ahhhhhhhh. Not very sunny but warm. There is only a smidgen of stubborn snow left in the backyard.
*Am wondering what I ever did to the Internet to make it treat me this way. It's being fickle. But is it the router? Or the service? I'm so techno challenged. All I know is that the house was internet-free for six hours or so yesterday, and I didn't like it. Not one bit.
*If anyone is in the Dayton, OH area, good friend Carrie Bebris is signing her newest Mr. & Mrs. Darcy mystery, The Intrigue at Highbury, tonight-Books & Co. at The Greene, 7 pm.
*Any books you're looking forward to this month? Personally, I can't wait for Carrie's new book, and the newest Lisa Lutz book, too--The Spellmans Strike Again. I love those Spellmans.
~Heather
I'm looking forward to Deanna Raybourn's The Dead Travel Fast, and Sophie Kinsella's '20s Girl. They're currently fighting over top position on my TBR pile...
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the hair cut. As for the internet, I think it does that on purpose just because it can. (It really has a mind of it's own).
ReplyDeleteWe hit the upper 60s yesterday and now we're paying for it with rain the next 10 days. But at least it's not snow.
I'm with you on the Spellman book. I can't wait to see what Izzy and Rae get into.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many books I'm looking forward to next month.
Good luck with your haircut today.
We got as high as 61 yesterday and it felt great. Unfortunately cold weather and rain is expected this weekend.
* If you don't like cupcakes, you root for the Taliban, my friends.
ReplyDelete* Might have a hamburger for lunch today. Might not.
* What's the deal with pants?
* "American Idol": a music show aimed at people with no taste in music. Sweet irony!
* That Kelly Ripa is a national treasure!
* When does "NBC Nightly News" come to the big screen?
* If anyone is in the Tulsa area today, you need to re-examine your life, and figure out where you went horribly wrong.
* Kids always ruin a good time. That's not an opinion.
* If you own a cell phone, you have an over-inflated ego.
Update: had the burger.
ReplyDeleteOh...I suffer when the internet is down! Hope your computer problems solve themselves soon. :)

Mystery Writing is Murder
Hope you are happy with the hair cut! Books I am looking forward to this month include: Red Delicious Death by Sheila Connolly, Plaster & Poison by Jennie Bentley, and Mad, Bad and Blonde by Cathie Linz.
ReplyDeleteWe need a picture of the hair cut! You have our curiosity up.
ReplyDeleteThe internet has been behaving, so I'm really hopeful the little gremlins have moved on. Still having issues with the printer, though.
ReplyDeleteHeather, I've been hearing a lot about Mad, Bad, and Blonde--tell me if you like it.
And Tonya, pictures--bleh. I'll see if my husband can work some magic with his camera.
Reading your post reminded me that I wanted to read the first Spellman book, and never did. I'm going to have to write this down somewhere, so I don't forget again. BTW, I loaned Truly, Madly to my friend and she thought it was a sweet, light and wonderful read. She really liked it a lot, so we're going to be looking for the next one.
ReplyDeleteTell her I said thanks, Mardel!
