Bits

*I’m late today—sorry! I slept in a little bit and before long it was noon! How’d that happen?

*More snow. It’s snowing heavily right now. Several inches are on the ground with more to fall throughout today into tomorrow. Kids are totally bummed as they already had scheduled days off for today and tomorrow. Poor things. ;)

*The library event in Waynesville has been cancelled tonight due to weather conditions. It looks like it might be postponed till March—when I have more details, I’ll post them.

*The group signing on Saturday was a big success! Thanks to everyone who came out, not only to see me but to see all the wonderful romance authors who attended. It was great to put some faces to names as some of my blog readers came out to say hi. Many thanks to Amanda and Nikki and Amy and Erin!

*Don’t you hate when the phone rings in the middle of the night? Mine did this morning at 4:30—my daughter, who was at a friend’s house for a sleepover, was ill with a stomach bug. I felt so badly for her—still do. She’s all wrapped up in blankets on the couch watching a 1970’s episode of Family Feud (oh, that Richard Dawson!). I’m hoping whatever she has will pass quickly—she’s so rarely sick that it makes seeing her like this so much harder.

*Tomorrow I’ll be guest blogging at Powered by Books about my life imitating my fiction, and I’ll also be interviewed at Pop Syndicate. I’ll post links tomorrow.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, a great Valentine’s Day, and is staying warm!

I think we're getting your snow later this evening.

I hope your daughter is feeling better.

    Have a great Monday.

hugs for daughter, though the 70's version of Family Feud is tons of fun to watch :)

  3. Glad you had a great turnout Saturday.

Our 3 inches of snow melted yesterday and today. We had a chance to a couple more inches, but we missed it (thankfully), but the wind has been blowing and it's cold.

Hope your daughter is better soon. It's rough being sick, but to be sick on a snow day is the pits. And the old version of Family Feud with Dawson was the best.

  4. Family Fued was very fun, though Richard wouldn't get away with all that kissing these days.
