Okay, on this lovely chilly morning, I'm looking for opinions. I'm thinking about changing my blog design (I can't help myself!). I really like the current look but it's a bit dark, don't you think? Doesn't exactly reflect my light, quirky writing style (IMO), but does reflect me (the everyday me) with its soothing earthy tones. Which is more important in a blog, I wonder?
Anyway, been playing, just for fun, with a new header/background. What do you think of this? testblog123

ReplyDeletei think it depends on the overall feel you're going for in terms of the long term image. both a inviting, and both make me want to stay on the page. s
ReplyDeletehowever, you mention the existing one being 'a bit dark'. are you in terms of ...what's the word -- color tone? hue? both backgrounds are very saturated colors. would you consider reducing the saturation on either, or going for lighter colors on the same scale?
Let me just say that blue is my favorite color so I do love the color scheme of the test site, especially the box with your name.

The way you keep redesigning your site makes me think that you wish you could make bigger changes in your life. Tell me: which family member is such a big disappointment to you?
