Last night I saw an ad on TV for a prescription medication that makes eyelashes longer, darker, fuller.
Never mind the list of possible side effects that include darkening of eyelids (which may be reversed) and the discoloration of irises.
I'm trying to be fair and nonjudgmental, I really am. I come at this with perfectly fine eyelashes, and know that if I had sparse little eyelashes I might have a different viewpoint.
That said, I can't help but wonder if all those risks are worth it? Especially when there are some really nice fake eyelashes on the market now?
Like I said, that's just me. Now if they came out with a cream for dark under-eye circles... Well, I might be singing a different tune.
I'm constantly amazed at the lists of side effects during most of those commercials, many causing worse problems than you had to begin with! One even says "may cause suicidal tendencies."
ReplyDeleteI'll keep what I've got, not add to the list thank you very much LOL
I'm not ruling anything out, because aging gracefully is a term I haven't fully accepted yet, but for right now--yeah, I'll keep what I've got too. Besides, surgery scares the bejeebers out of me.
